Description
Erietta Vordoni was born in Athens. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Athens under Yiannis Moralis. She continued her studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris under professors Cremonini and Cesar. In 1997 at the pioneering Salon de Montrouge in Paris she was awarded the highest painting prize. He also received a painting prize from the Nouveau Musée National of Monaco.
She has had 38 individual exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions, mainly in Europe, America and Asia. In Greece, among other places, she has exhibited at the Benaki Museum, the Vorre Museum, the Numismatic Museum, the War Museum of Athens, the Gennadio Library, the Melina Merkouri Foundation, the B.&M. Theocharakis, in Athens-Pieridis Foundation, in Technopolis of Athens, in Art Athina, in the Museum of Hydra and in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Thessaloniki.
Her works are in many public and private collections including the Museum of Modern Art, Nice, France, the Vorres Museum, Athens, Greece, the Queen’s Museum, New York, USA Museum of Modern Art, Seoul, Korea, the National Gallery, Athens, Greece, the Museum of Monte Carlo, Monaco, the Agnelli Collection, and the P. Dreyfus Collection.
