Description
Chryssa Verghi was born in Athens in 1959. She studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Athens and Interior Design at the Fine Arts School of California State University of Long Beach, USA. Under a French Government Scholarship and the Greek State Scholarship, she continued her post graduate studies in Painting at the Ecolé Nationale Superieure de Paris, France, under professor Pierre Carron.
Her works can be found in the Greek Parliament, the Greek National Gallery, The Office of the Prime Minister, the Benaki Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in Florina, the Frissiras Museum, the Kouvoutsakis Pinacotheque, the Moschandreou Pinacotheque, the Collection of the Agricultural Bank of Greece, the AGET Heraklis Group of Companies Collection, the InterAmerican Collection, and other private museums and collections in Greece and abroad.
She presented her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Greece, China, USA, Belgium, Ireland, Great Britain, France, Cyprus, Turkey, Korea, Lebanon, Dubai, Bahrain, and Mauritius.
