Description
Tassos Syntelis was born in Athens in 1943. He studied painting under Panos Sarafianos(1960-1962). He also studied Engraving at the Athens School of Fine Arts under K. Grammatopoulos(1963-1967) and Mosaics under Elli Voila(1965-1967).
He attained a PhD from Hartford University USA. From 1970 to 2000 he lived and worked at the USA. He has taught painting and engraving at USA Universities. Since 1963 he has exhibited his work in many solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. His works can be found in museums and private collections around the world. He has received numerous awards for his overall work.
