Description
The inspiration for the HELMET LAMP comes from the 50s, specifically from the helmets worn by the drivers of racing cars of that period.
Designer and goldsmith Huffy, who is both an enthusiast and driver of classic racing cars himself, designed and built the lamp for CREAID organization at his goldsmiths’ workshop in Athens, where he applied purely the goldsmith art for the metal parts, and the art of wood carving for the base.
The HELMET LAMP is a floor lamp made of many materials such as copper, brass and thermoplastic for the helmet-part, and African walnut for the base.
