Achilleas Michaelides, aka Paparazzi was born in 1982 in Tblisi, Georgia. A painter, graffiti writer, muralist and street artist, as a youth he attended art school in Tbilisi. In 1997, his family emigrated to Thessaloniki where he started learning the art of graffiti. Since 2002, he lives and works in Cyprus where he established himself as a pioneer in the street art movement and created many of the most recognizable mural artworks in numerous urban areas. He has presented his work in five solo exhibitions and in many group shows and festivals in Cyprus, Greece, England, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, France, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Qatar, the UAE, Georgia and Bulgaria. He has collaborated with many internationally recognized street artists including Bates, Tats Crew, Kacao77, L7M and has worked with numerous multinational brands including. Yamaha, Carlsberg, Baileys, Guaba, Biblio Globus, Famous Grouse, Jameson Irish Whiskey and Ballantine’s among others.
