“The work explores the roof as a symbolic and functional element that protects and
separates the interior space from the exterior. Its decay reveals the multilayered
relationship between time, memory, and dwelling. The worn tiles, with their cracks
and gaps, transform the roof from a boundary into a viewing point, highlighting the
coexistence of different temporalities. The sculpture invites the viewer to reflect on
the roof as a passage between private and public space, past and present.”
