Description
Katherine Vafias was born in 1981 in Athens. She currently lives and works between Athens and London. Vafias received her BTEC diploma in Art and Design in Central Saint Martins and a BA in Fine Art from Middlessex University, London, UK. She has exhibited her works in the Breeder Gallery, Athens Photo Festivals New Greek Photographers 2004, 2005 and 2009, Zina Athanasiadou Gallery, Art Athina2004, 2005 and 2008, Kunstenhouse, Vienna and many others significant galleries. She has won four awards in Fotografos Magazine in 2004, 2006 and 2007.
