Description
Peter (Panagiotis) Katsihtis was born in Anavryti, Lakonia, Greece and moved to the USA where he became a prominent and successful entrepreneur. Katsihtis devoted himself to the artistic creation and expression and has been consistently painting over the last 4 decades. His style is unique, creating works of intensely rich color, bold forms and powerfully animated curved lines. In 2024 he successfully held his first solo art exhibition, “A journey in painting”, at the Arts Centre of the City of Athens at Parko Eleftherias.
Peter Katsihtis paints free of any pressure to succeed or be recognised. He worked for many years in his New York studio and for the last two decades in his studio in Glyfada, creating works of a fluid painterly quality that push the boundaries.
