Description
Apostolos Giagianos was born in Tripoli, Arcadia, in 1945. As a visual artist, from 1974 to 2022, he has held 87 solo exhibitions and participated in 600 group exhibitions in Greece, 11 European countries, the USA, Canada, and Australia.
His works are found in the National Gallery, the Ministry of Culture, the War Museum, the Byzantine Museum, the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the National Bank, as well as in public and private institutions and museums in Greece and abroad.
His works have been registered in the records of Sotheby’s and Christie’s. Over time, he has published texts in various newspapers, magazines, and illustrated books by Greek authors. He has been involved in folklore and the art of Shadow Theater – ‘figures,’ ‘Scenics’ (published by Ermis 1975-76).
In 2003, his novel ‘Goodbye Forever’ was published by KAKTOS Publications.
In 2018, the poetry collection ‘The Tearful,’ in 2019 ‘The Ultimate – Him,’ ‘Love,’ and ‘From Here and There – satirical,’ and in 2022 ‘Whispers in Silence’ were published by 24grammata Publications.”
