Description
Athens-based architect Mari Goga created the light “spinning top”, a coexistence of the light nature of the form, the robustness of concrete and the glow of copper.
It is a light constructed by the well-known technique of mosaic floorings frequently seen in old greet; neoclassical and modern houses. The cone is handmade through a casting progress that uses a variety of stones and glasses arranged in a way that reminds the shinny, smooth touch of a sea pebble.
‘Spinning top’ stands on its own or can be grouped together in various combinations. Its playful and handmade character, its plain geometry and timeless materials make it unique and compatible in different stylistic environments.
