Christina Savvaki was Born in 1993 in Florina, Greece, she studied drawing and painting at Nikos Tamouselis’ workshop in Florina’s Society for the Promotion of Education FSF – Aristoteles. Simultaneously she studied drawing at drawing workshop R2art in the city of Thessaloniki. She graduated with honours from the University of Western Macedonia, Department of Fine and Applied Arts in July 2016 at Ioannis Ziogas’ workshop. Her internship took place at the Florina Museum of Contemporary Art where she continued working as a volunteer. Participant in numerous art festivals, biennials, exhibitions, two of them solo in Greece and abroad. She has also been attending seminars, conferences and lectures at the same time. Participated in miscellaneous art projects such as ‘’the three dimensional flower project, #McQueenCreators’’ by Alexander McQueen fashion house, and excelled in some of them. Her artwork has been chosen in a competition of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece on behalf of the Ministry of Culture to decorate public buildings in 2020. Additionally, she was one of two artists who represented Greece at Korce colony, «Days of Mio» 2022 and she was selected as one of the ten artists for the Painting Symposium in Patra, a tribute to the writer Alki Zei, organized by the Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Patra in collaboration with the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece in 2023. Many of her works are now part in private and public art collections, including the Greek Embassy in Madrid, Spain. Her artistic approach and work have also been the subject of articles. Furthermore, she organizes exhibitions and projects with independent artists and groups. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and of the management board at the ‘Museum of Contemporary Art’ in Florina.
