Description
Giorgio Bounias was Born in Greece and studied conservation of works of art and antiquities in Italy. He did his internship in the Vatican and the Uffizi museum in Florence, while at the same
time developing his painting and his artistic ability. He worked on the visual and stage editing of two plays at the Karolos Koun Art Theater. Giorgio Bounias has dabbled in various art forms, including collage with cardboard and newspapers, painting with acrylic paints and stucco, and painting on horned cattle skulls.
His work in Crete has been digitized for the promotion of the place following an invitation from the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Technology and Research of Crete.
He has exhibited at the Marathon museum, at the Tsitsanis museum in Trikala, about the little Paris of Athens, while he also held his solo exhibition at the Bagion hotel in 2020 and at the Kapopoulos Fine Arts Gallery in 2023.
